Who we are
FLWRS ("we", "our", or "us") is an app that helps people express appreciation to the people who matter to them. Our app is available at giveflowers.app and on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information we collect
Information you provide:- Your email address, used to create and manage your account
- Your display name, which appears on notes you send
- Notes you write or generate using FLWRS, including the recipient's name and the relationship type you select
- Responses you write to notes you receive
Information collected automatically:- Push notification tokens, used to send you notifications when someone opens or responds to your note (only if you grant permission)
- Basic usage data to help us understand how the app is used and improve it
Information we do not collect:- We do not collect your location
- We do not collect your contacts
- We do not sell your information to anyone
How we use your information
- To create and manage your FLWRS account
- To generate, store, and deliver notes on your behalf
- To send you push notifications about your notes (only with your permission)
- To improve FLWRS and fix issues
We use your email address only for authentication and transactional messages (such as delivering a note link). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
How we store your information
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. Notes and responses are stored so they can be accessed via their unique link. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited cases:
- Service providers: We use Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (AI note generation), and Expo (push notifications). These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings

Children's privacy
FLWRS is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of FLWRS after changes means you accept the updated policy.
